Marine Water Filtration
We have extensive experience in providing systems from 200 gallons/day to 31,680 gallons per day for ships and boats. In addition to the manufacturing of durable, easy to maintain systems to rated outputs, we have become proficient at meeting the many challenges of this market.
We provide engineering support for the installation of our equipment, including P&IDs and piping drawings to assist in the preparation of the vessel to install our equipment. This is often essential for new construction and especially for the retrofit process. We work with the ship’s owners, shipyard and intermediaries to support this process.
We can provide custom equipment when a ship is to be retrofitted with a new desalination system, either to replace an evaporator or other competitive equipment. This includes design of a modular system so that the equipment can be moved through existing hatchways and doorways as well as fit in the allowable space.
We can provide expedited manufacturing to meet the needs of ships that change ownership and may need upgraded equipment quickly.
We offer certification for our equipment through agencies such as ABS, Germanischer Lloyds, Lloyds Register or Bureau Veritas, if required.
We provide on board services for commissioning, startup, sea trials, and training of crew.
We provide accessories which may be necessary for shipboard applications such as seawater preheaters, UV sterilizers, brominators, chlorination systems, iron removal filters, oil removals filters, and more. Special rigging equipment is available for moving skid mounted systems on board.
You may reference standard Lifestream products for this application: NDX, SW4, SW6, SW7, SW8, SWHP, and SWER.
